Day
1 Hanoi
Get a feel for this
charming city on a cyclo ride through the Old
Quarter. With its wide boulevards and yellow painted
buildings, the city centre still retains an air of a
provincial French town of the 1930s.

Days
2-3 Halong Bay Junk overnight, return to Hanoi
Rest your eyes on the
azure waters of this magical bay, where thousands of
sculpted limestone islands rise magestically from
the waves. Aboard a sailing junk visit some of the
islands and caves, take a pre-dinner swim and enjoy
a a very peaceful night beneath the stars.

4-5 Hue
Surrounded by mountains
and sea, Hue was chosen as capital by the Nguyen
emperors for its natural beauty and isolation. The
royal past lives on in the atmospheric ruins of the
Imperial Citadel and the emperors' magnificent tombs

6-7 Hoi An
Head south through the
spectacular scenery of buffalo-dotted rice paddies,
endless lagoons and breathtaking mountain passes to
Hoi An. once known as Faifo, was an important
trading town with strong south Chinese influence and
connections

8 Sai Gon (Ho Chi Minh City)
Get acquainted with the
city on a cyclo tour and choose from an endless
array of eating options, from a local style lunch in
the Ben Thanh Market to fine dining and outdoor
barbecue.

9-10 Mekong Delta Homestay and Cu Chi Tunnels
The 'rice bowl' of Vietnam
is famous for its tropical fruits and flowers - and
of course rice. Cruise among floating markets and
visit some cottage industries by boat through the
maze of waterways. Mix with the locals on an
overnight homestay and crawl down the famous Cu Chi
Tunnels

11 Sai Gon
Vietnam's lively city is
the perfect place to unwind from our trip. Wander
the Dong Khoi avenue, while the hours away on
rooftop bars or browse the city's markets before a
final meal.
